The CW’s post-apocalyptic drama The 100 had one particularly controversial rough spot last season, but it more or less set things right by the finale. The show will be returning for a fourth season in a few months, and you can see a trailer for it up above. It’s a pretty meaty clip, with lots of teases for murders and romances to come, but the heaviest stuff happens right in the beginning with a quick rundown of all the horrific ways that people may soon be dying in the world of The 100. It all builds to the tagline “From the ashes we will rise,” which is suitably intense and dramatic for this show.
The 100 returns to The CW on Wednesday, February 1.
