Another year, another season of Bones

Stars Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz’s contracts were up at the end of Bones’ current season, but that one friend of yours who is always trying to talk about Bones when no one wants to talk about Bones can rest assured! Bones, which has been on your television for 208 episodes, will return for an 11th season, and Bones and Booth will both be back to bone and look at bones and talk about bones.

The show’s most recent showrunner Stephen Nathan, however, will not return. He has had enough bones for a lifetime. Bones executive producer Jonathan Collier and co-executive producer Michael Peterson will be the new showrunners and will executive produce alongside Bones creator Hart Hanson, Barry Josephson, and Randy Zisk. It joins the already-renewed Empire, Gotham, Sleepy Hollow, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine, because what would Fox be without its Bones?
