Anything Sherlock can do The Doctor can do better 

For the last week or so, fans of dapper British television stars have been trying to will into reality the rumor that Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch will play Dr. Who nemesis The Master opposite the equally charming Matt Smith. The rumor is pretty flimsy at this point, and if it were to happen, viewers wouldn’t even be able to actually see the dream teamup until next year, but thankfully, the Internet is here to fulfill your Doctor Sherlock fantasies for the time being… and no, I’m not talking about slash-fic (this time!). Their virtual meeting via edited-together video clips is both thematically apt and adorably silly thanks to the soundtrack: The Annie Get Your Gun chestnut “Anything You Can Do.” Luckily for Sherlock and The Doctor, the song doesn’t include any lyrics about playing the violin or wearing a bowtie, so we’ll call this one a draw. A sexy, sexy draw.
