Apatow sued over Knocked Up plagiarism

According to AP, Canadian author Rebecca Eckler has sued Knocked Up writer/director Judd Apatow and the film's studio NBC Universal, charging that the movie borrows liberally from a book she wrote in 2004. Her flimsy proof? Um, both have the same name. Both are about roughly the same thing. And the clincher: Eckler claims that while she was pitching her story to Hollywood, she learned that Apatow's script for Knocked Up bore a picture of a martini glass adorned with a pacifier–which just so happens to be the cover of her book.
