April Fools’ may have come and gone—thankfully—this year, but it left behind a new short from the ladies of Broad City. In it, the very nature of the incredibly frustrating holiday nearly causes a rift in Abbi and Ilana’s friendship. During one of their routine video chats, Ilana decides to prank Abbi by saying they should take a “friend break.” Only it seems Abbi thinks it’s actually a good idea. Chaos ensues as Abbi tries to rectify her misunderstanding—a bowl is broken, but all seemingly ends well. However, it is undeniable proof that April Fools’ day is indeed the worst. Broad City returns in August 2017.
