Jason Momoa makes a splash in the first Aquaman trailer

After literal years of waiting—we first reported on Jason Momoa’s casting as the character in 2014, and the first footage from the movie was shown at last year’s San Diego Comic-Con—today Warner Bros. opened the floodgates and debuted the first trailer for Aquaman, director James Wan’s upcoming attempt to reform the King of Atlantis’ image from laughingstock of the DC superhero universe to underwater badass.
