XOXO (Netflix, 3:01 a.m., Friday): After last week’s DJ documentary I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead, Netflix is going all in on that crazy electronic dance music that the cool kids are into these days. This week, Netflix rave culture drives on until dawn (or begins at 3 in the morning anyway) with this original movie about six different, Day-Glo dance enthusiasts (including Sarah Hyland, Ione Skye, Chris D’Elia, and Ryan Hansen) who all connect during the titular music festival whose name is legally distinct from SXSW.
Jeff Foxworthy And Larry The Cable Guy: We’ve Been Thinking… (Netflix, 3:01 a.m., Friday): Have they though? Anyway, Netflix attempts to counterbalance its stand-up special scales after David Cross: Making America Great Again! by allotting an hour to two of those Blue Collar Comedy fellows to entertain the 100 percent of its audience that will never watch David Cross. Or who watch the first five minutes, thinking it’ll be the Tobias Fünke show and then start writing angry emails. (And just for fun, why not revisit the time Dave and Larry really got into it.)
ArenaBowl XXIX: Philadelphia Soul At Arizona Rattlers (ESPN, 7 p.m., Friday): It’s the championship of the Arena Football League, people! Sure, it’s played in a hockey rink, but at least it counts, unlike the games that lame NFL is putting up this weekend. Yeah, looking at you, next entry.
NFL Preseason Football: Browns At Buccaneers (CBS, 8 p.m., Friday) and Titans At Raiders (CBS, 8 p.m., Saturday): Are you ready for some football that doesn’t count but where the potential for injury is just as real and the fans still have to pay full price for everything!?
Premieres and finales
The Kicks (Amazon, 3:01 a.m., Friday): The series premiere of this young adult sports comedy series about a girls’ soccer team based on the feel-good YA novels by U.S. soccer star Alex Morgan. Reportedly narrowly chosen over a similar Amazon pilot from Hope Solo entitled Just Kick The Fucking Ball, You Little Cowards.
The Half Hour (Comedy Central, 12 a.m., Saturday): Midnight’s all right for comedy as this stand-up showcase (which lasts a particular amount of time) returns for its fifth season with back-to-back specials from Noah Gardenswartz and Ramon Rivas.
Aquarius (NBC, 9 and 10 p.m., Saturday): The last time we saw this NBC series’ version of Charles Manson, his followers were leaving a certain house on August 9, 1969. So that’s not good. The show returns from its hiatus with two back-to-back episodes where, no doubt, David Duchovny’s dogged Det. Sam Hodiak will decide that it’s just about time to deal with this Manson ne’er-do-well once and for all.
Boston EMS (ABC, 9 and 10 p.m., Saturday): Warning: These represent the final two episodes of season two of this reality series about Boston first responders. So if you intend on getting injured in the greater Boston area after Saturday, you may not be featured on television. Just a heads-up.

“Episode 110,” The Ben Stiller Show (CW Seed): We’re sure that Renly Baratheon up there makes a serviceable fictional Charles Manson, but we all know that the gold standard for shaggy cult-leading is the pre-Mr. Show, very pre-Better Call Saul Bob Odenkirk. In this episode of Stiller’s still-pretty-impressive sketch show, Odenkirk is Manson, star of his own… look, just watch it. Treat yourself. And remember, he’s a ghost of a shadow of a phantom in the heart of your children.
