Arby's just paid $44,000 for Pharrell Williams' Arby’s-like Grammys hat
Arby’s now owns Pharrell Williams’ wacky brown hat from the Grammys. The roast beef and 10 gallon hat-affiliated chain paid $44,000 in the recent charity auction for the Vivienne Westwood creation, saying in a tweet it’s “HAPPY” to “get our hat back.” There’s no word on what Arby’s will actually do with the hat, though presumably it’ll involve a bucket of cheddar cheese sauce.
Proceeds from the hat’s sale went to From One Hand To AnOTHER, a charity established by Williams “for the sole purpose of supporting the Pharrell Williams Resource Centers’ learning programs developed for every one of the underserved youth between the ages of 7 and 20 in at risk communities throughout the country.”
