Arcade Fire is currently gearing up for its fifth studio album, Everything Now, dropping the album’s title single earlier this week, and revealing a July 28 release date. Now, the band has released the full set list for Everything Now, at least for fans who want to put in a little bit of work.
Per Pitchfork, a Twitter account associated with the band—operating under the name Everything Now Co.—has tweeted out all of the album’s track titles. But in a move that we can only assume was intended to bring the Internet Anagram Server to its knees, they did so by mixing up all the letters, so that, say, “Everything Now” becomes “Worthy Evening.”
Of course, we wouldn’t dare disrupt your Saturday morning indie rock Daily Jumble with guesses of our own (although Twitter has quickly filled in most of the blanks). It is interesting to note, though, those “You’ll see” tweets, which suggest something weird might be going on with the album’s running order. In the meantime, the band’s own Twitter account got in on the silliness, demanding Everything Now cease and desist with this scrambled nonsense, a request that was swiftly denied.
