Arcade Fire is booked to appear on The Colbert Report next Monday, Oct. 21. This is the band’s second appearance on a Comedy Central late night show, and the group’s third TV appearance so far behind the upcoming Reflektor, out Oct. 29. There’s no word yet on what sort of zany hijinks Stephen Colbert will ask the band to get up to, but it’s a pretty safe bet that they’ll probably answer some awkward questions and then play a new song. That is, of course, assuming they don't decide they're too good for the whole show and bail on it to stand around at some dumb awards ceremony. But what kind of jerk band would do that?
