Arcade Fire wants to sell you its old Canadian church with a rotten roof

Want to read a Bible where Neon Bible was recorded, or live in the suburb that birthed The Suburbs? Arcade Fire is selling its former church studio in Farnham, Quebec, offering you the chance to do both of those things. The band recorded its last two albums there, but has since moved on to a new house of God, because the original church needs a new roof. According to the real estate listing, the rock 'n' roll church is located on a quiet side street and “the entire volume of the nave is intact.” It also has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a common room, laundry room, storage room, mechanical room, renovated basement/recording studio, and a really overgrown yard. Arcade Fire is asking $325,000 Canadian, or $327,489 American. Start that Kickstarter now. [via Consequence Of Sound]
