Archers Of Loaf will make its national TV debut tonight on Fallon
Indie legends Archers Of Loaf earned a place in the hearts of many Gen-Xers with 1993's Icky Mettle, but the group is still an unknown entity as far as most of the world is concerned. Hopefully tonight's appearance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon will play a part in changing that at least a little bit. It will mark Archers Of Loaf's national television debut, and what good timing, as Merge is planning reissues of all four Archers albums, beginning with Icky Mettle on Aug. 2.
The reissue will include new liner notes by Robert Christgau, as well as bonus material like singles, B-sides, and the entire Archers of Loaf vs. The Greatest of All Time EP. Archers Of Loaf are also on tour this summer; check out the tour dates below.
