We’re not falling for this one again, Hot Ones
Hot Ones is promising Ariana Grande for its season finale, but should we believe them?

Earlier today, First We Feast announced Ariana Grande as the guest for this week’s season finale of Hot Ones. The only question is, should we believe them?
The last time Hot Ones teased Grande, they didn’t follow through. On June 11, 2024, responding to an earlier tweet about Grande’s possible appearance, the official First We Feast account tweeted, “Yes, and?” The account would later backtrack, blaming the prep time on soy wings. Of course, any level seven vegan can tell you that soy wings actually take less time to prepare because they can be consumed raw. One of the many benefits of a plant-based diet devoid of eggs, meat, and dairy is the guilt-free partaking of uncooked wheat gluten. Hail, seitan, indeed.
Unfortunately, when the June 13 episode of Hot Ones dropped, Grande was replaced by none other than Shane Gillis, who would later claim all his best racist material was cut. While many assume a comedian who really wants audiences to find ableism funny and regularly invites Holocaust deniers and white supremacists on his podcast is a suitable alternative for Ari, the episode was not well received. Still, we can’t help but worry about what might happen this week. Are we in store for a Joe Rogan appearance? After all, he does have a new Netflix special filled to the brim with stale-as-hell provocations and yesterday’s conspiracy theories. If they can swap Grande for Gillis, anything is possible.
This time, First We Feast promises, “this is NOT a drill,” Grande will be taking down some soy-based Wings of Death on Thursday, August 8, for the Hot Ones seasons finale. Let’s just hope they deliver this time.
