Ariana Grande recruits Miley Cyrus, Coldplay, and more for Manchester benefit show

The benefit concert for the victims of the Manchester terrorist attack that Ariana Grande announced on Friday has been scheduled for June 4 at the Emirates Old Trafford cricket ground. The event is expected to feature a lineup of stars including Miley Cyrus, Coldplay, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Pharrell Williams, Usher, Take That, and Niall Horan. According to Billboard, the net proceeds from the show—deemed One Love Manchester—will go to the British Red Cross’ We Love Manchester Emergency Fund. Grande is also offering free admission for those who had attended the May 22 concert where 22 were killed by a suicide bomber.

Last week, Grande wrote in a statement: “Our response to this violence must be to come closer together, to help each other, to love more, to sing louder and to live more kindly and generously than we did before. I’ll be returning to the incredibly brave city of Manchester to spend time with my fans and to have a benefit concert in honor of and to raise money for the victims and their families.”

The One Love Manchester concert is set to be broadcast on BBC TV and Radio, and will be streamed on an as-yet-unannounced platform, Billboard reported. Tickets go on sale June 1 at 10 a.m. British Summer Time.
