On Sunday night, Ariana Grande’s benefit concert for the victims of the Manchester bomb attack will take place in the U.K., but American audiences will be able to see it as well. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show will be aired live on the Freeform cable channel (formerly ABC Family), followed by a one-hour highlights special later that evening on ABC following the conclusion of the NBA Finals. It was announced on ABC’s morning show Good Morning America, which advised audiences to check their local listings, saying the concert would air live on Freeform and on “many of our ABC stations after the NBA Finals.”
One Love Manchester will feature performances by Grande, who will be joined by a host of other big-name artists, including Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Pharrell Williams, Miley Cyrus, Coldplay, Usher, Niall Horan, and Take That. It will begin at 7 p.m. UK time, which is 2 p.m. ET here in the States. Additionally, Canadian viewers can catch it “live and commercial-free from 1:55 p.m. to 5 p.m. ET on its CTV, Much and VRAK channels, using the BBC feed from Manchester.” All net proceeds from the show go to benefit the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund, set up by the Manchester City Council in partnership with the Red Cross.
