Variety reports that NBC has hired Arnold Schwarzenegger as the new host of The Celebrity Apprentice. Besides possessing the apparently requisite fondness for self-tanner, Schwarzenegger currently owns a number of businesses, including stakes in several real-estate companies, and had his own bricklaying and mail-order fitness equipment ventures even before making it as a movie star. There’s also his tenure as the governor of California, which was ranked as the world’s eighth-largest economy as of July this year. He also moved to the U.S. from Austria in 1968, meaning that Donald Trump’s worst fear has actually come true, and an immigrant has taken his job.
NBC says that The Celebrity Apprentice will return sometime during the 2016-2017 TV season.
