Aronofsky aims for small screen

Darren Aronofsky, the man behind Pi, Requiem For A Dream, and MYOF Secret Success The Fountain, has a new project on his plate: a television show titled Riverview Towers. Written by John J. McLaughlin, Aronofsky's collaborator on the upcoming ballet thriller Black Swan, the show is reported to "revolve around a family that moves into an apartment building with paranormal activity." AMC (Mad Men, Breaking Bad) is the company behind the project, and Monster writer-director Patty Jenkins is in talks to helm the series should it be picked up.
