Here's some good news for Arrested Development fans who haven't completely lost the capacity to love another television show: AD creator Mitchell Hurwitz and writer Richard Day are developing an American version of The Thick Of It, a British sitcom about bumbling politicians. Along with removing all references to tea, Big Ben, and whimiscal chimney sweeps, the show presumably will transfer the hilarity from Parliament to Washington DC. If Hurwirtz can somehow work in a fat, blue collar guy with a sexy blonde wife, this sounds like a hit.
