Arrested Development reunion! (Sort of!)

It's not quite on the same level as the still (supposedly) in-progress Arrested Development movie, but creator Mitch Hurwitz recently announced that he is reuniting former cast members Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, and Henry Winkler for his new show Sit Down, Shut Up—well, their voices, anyway. Hurwitz is producing an animated comedy (based on the live-action Australian series of the same name) about self-obsessed high school staffers, and recruited his AD ringers to a roster that already includes Cheri Oteri, Will Forte, Regina King, Nick Kroll, Tom Kenny, and Maria Bamford.

By the way, Sit Down, Shut Up is the fourth new animated comedy in the works for Fox, who are also developing the Family Guy spin-off Cleveland, a toon remake of short-lived 2003 sitcom The Pitts, and Mothballs, from the creators of Drawn Together. Whether they'll all air together similar to Fox's Animation Sunday hasn't been announced yet, but it's a safe bet that if and when they do, we'll probably make Genevieve Koski cover them all.
