Arrow’s Colton Haynes joins American Horror Story season 7
Although it won’t include Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton as characters, the next season of American Horror Story will involve the recent presidential election in some way. And now we can surmise that it’ll include a significant amount of parkour as well. That’s because Screenrant is reporting that Colton Haynes has joined the cast in an as-yet-undisclosed role, and as Arrow fans know from Haynes’ time on that show, his favorite thing in the world is doing cool-yet-unnecessary stunts as often as possible. American Horror Story has never really had a strong parkour element, and the 2016 presidential election didn’t involve much parkour, so Haynes should hopefully be able to inject a lot of cool-yet-unnecessary stunts into the FX series—assuming creator Ryan Murphy makes room in his weirdo plots and bizarre imagery for some backflips.
Murphy announced the news himself with an Instagram post featuring a photo of Haynes:
Haynes, who also worked with Murphy on Fox’s Scream Queens, is joining previously announced cast members Billie Lourd, Billy Eichner, Sarah Paulson, and Evan Peters.
