Apparently guest-starring on an upcoming episode of CSI wasn't enough for singer (and sometime "singer") Ashlee Simpson-Wentz. She's decided to keep on acting for a little bit, the Hollywood Reporter has revealed. Simpson-Wentz will be joining the cast of the upcoming Melrose Place revamp for The CW. But who will she play?:
Simpson-Wentz will play Melrose Place's newest resident, Violet, a bright-eyed but shrewd small-town girl and recent L.A. transplant who has come to town with a secret.
A secret you say? Color us intrigued. Simpson-Wentz is not a complete stranger to acting, however, having previously appeared on Malcolm In The Middle and co-starred in the 2005 film Undiscovered. You know that one, right?
