Aspiring actor Charles Barkley to appear on USA’s Suits

Here’s a heartwarming story for Sunday afternoon: There’s a young man from Alabama named Charles Barkley, and he’s the world’s biggest fan of the USA Network legal drama Suits. Barkley also happens to be a bit of an actor (emphasis on “a bit of”), having appeared in Space Jam, a few episodes of Saturday Night Live, and HBO’s Arli$$. So, when Suits creator Aaron Korsh heard about Charles Barkley and his love for Harvey Specter and Mike Ross (played by Gabriel Macht and Patrick J. Adams), he gave the little boy a call and offered him a chance to make a cameo appearance on an upcoming episode of Suits. Barkley—who is also a former basketball player—jumped at the chance, and now he’s living out a real-life Suits dream.

Suits will return to USA for its fifth season in June, with Barkley appearing in the third episode. The Hollywood Reporter says he’ll be playing “a heightened version of himself,” which hopefully means the episode will have him constantly freaking out about being on set with the cast of Suits.
