Atlanta rapper Slim Dunkin murdered before a video shoot

A guest artist on songs by Waka Flocka Flame and Gucci Mane, and a member of Mane's 1017 Brick Squad collective, rapper Slim Dunkin was shot to death Friday before a video shoot in Atlanta. He was 24. Witnesses report that Dunkin was murdered after getting into an argument at a recording studio. Dunkin was there to shoot a video with Mane and V-Nasty for the song "Push Ups." During the argument, the shooter allegedly produced a handgun and shot Dunkin "at least one time" in the chest. Investigators talked to eight out of as many as 20 people in the studio that night, and "it seems everybody witnessed something very different. We're just trying to go back and make sense of everything." [via the Atlanta Journal Constitution]
