ATX is hosting a frakking Battlestar Galactica reunion

Like the members of its far-flung human fleet—or, really, the cast of any sci-fi TV show with a sufficiently strong cult following—the stars of Syfy’s reimagined Battlestar Galactica have all gone their separate ways in the eight years since the show went off the air. Some took refuge in long-running Western detective shows. Others popped up on network TV, usually hidden safely within the bounds of genre work like Lucifer or Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. A few went back to the only lives they knew, doing frequent guest-star stints on Canadian TV. But now, it’s finally time to grab your gun and bring the cat in, because the organizers of Austin’s ATX TV Festival have announced that they’re assembling a reunion of the crew of the good ship Galactica for the closing night of their June 2017 event.

Working with Entertainment Weekly, ATX has managed to lure back the show’s creator, Ronald Moore, plus stars Edward James Olmos, Mary McDonnell, James Callis, Tricia Helfer, Katee Sackhoff, Grace Park, Michael Trucco, and Michael Hogan. (And yeah, we don’t like getting Trucco’s Sam Anders instead of Jamie “Apollo” Bamber, either, but at least it’s true to the show.)

The reunion panel will be held on the show’s final night, June 10, and will be broadcast on EW’s streaming network, PEN.
