As she revealed to Jimmy Fallon earlier this year, Aubrey Plaza is a proud member of an L.A. intramural basketball team called The Pistol Shrimps. In addition to documenting their exploits on Instagram, the team recently came together to create a pitch-perfect parody of a 1996 Burger King commercial. After showing off some “radical” basketball moves for their biggest fan (Steven Brydle), the whole group heads to Burger King for 20—no, fuck it—30 chicken nuggets. Written and directed by Ryan Corrigan, the video perfectly captures the energy and details of a ’90s commercial—right down to the chance to win a private screening of Space Jam with your favorite Pistol Shrimp.
