In a recent interview with The Telegraph, Idris Elba revealed that his Thor character Heimdall will appear in an Avengers: Age Of Ultron scene that also includes Loki (Tom Hiddleston). Although Thor’s participation is obvious—and we just saw him put his hammer on the table in the revised trailer for the film—the inclusion of Heimdall and Loki has been a secret relegated to the cosmos until now.
In news of earthbound characters, it seems of Hayley Atwell’s Peggy Carter will appear in Ant-Man, based on a recent casting call looking for a stand-in for the actress. This supports earlier unconfirmed reports that Carter would appear in a flashback alongside Howard Stark, Armin Zola, Alexander Pierce, and Hank Pym at S.H.I.E.L.D. And because there was space for another person on the set of Avengers: Age Of Ultron, Carter will also follow the debut of her own TV show with an appearance in that movie as well.
