The story: The Infinity War’s been a long time coming, starting with the introduction of the first Infinity Stone (the Tesseract in Captain America: The First Avenger). But that conflict might not span two installments anymore—the Russo brothers, who are directing again, have said that the third and fourth Avengers films will be very different from each other. But what we’ve gleaned so far about the plot is that Thanos, who was seen slipping on the Infinity gauntlet in a post-Age Of Ultron credits scene, is probably going to get off his duff to get the rest of the Stones. The directors have also suggested that everyone will still be dealing with the fallout of Civil War.
