Aziz Ansari’s new Netflix special, Buried Alive, is out today. For Halloween last night, though, Ansari dropped into New York City’s The Comedy Cellar dressed as Thomas The Tank Engine. While Ansari unfortunately doesn’t really have any Thomas The Tank Engine material ready in the clip below—not even a Ringo joke, Aziz?—it is kind of neat to see the crowd’s reaction go from total confusion to one of increasing pleasure. Bonus points for that Shining Time Station reference, too.
