On January 21, America will have to wake up and deal with the fact that Donald Trump has assumed the presidency, but at least Aziz Ansari will be on Saturday Night Live that evening. Ansari is set as host of the post-inauguration show alongside musical guest Big Sean. Presumably they’ll be joined by Alec Baldwin, who will be on hand to lampoon whatever madness takes place the day prior.
As for whether Trump will send angry tweets about the show in office, we’ll just have to wait and see. In the meantime, SNL is kicking off its 2017 this weekend with Felicity Jones and Sturgill Simpson.
