In honor of Back To The Future’s 25th anniversary [pause for Edvard Munch-like scream as the reader reflects upon his own encroaching mortality, and the fact that he will likely never see flying cars or a government-regulated weather system in his lifetime], select AMC theaters will screen a digitally remastered print of the film in more than 40 cities on October 23 and 25. Attendees will also receive a commemorative poster and other movie-related giveaways, as well as the brief consolation that the Back To The Future they’re watching is not a 3D remake featuring, say, Justin Bieber, but rather pure, uncut ’80s nostalgia, none of that stepped-on shit.
