To celebrate 10 years of existence, How It Should Have Ended pulled out all the stops in recreating the “Bad Blood” music video by Taylor Swift. In place of Swift and Selena Gomez are Batman and Superman, prepping for their upcoming fisticuffs in Batman V. Superman: Dawn Of Justice. But just like the Swift video, this one is a star-studded affair with characters from all over geek canon showing up to pledge support for the Dark Knight as he prepares to take on the last son of Krypton.
It’s an impressive shot-for-shot remake with some previous HISHE characters showing up before the ultimate fight, and a nice way to comment on all the “Villain Pub” and “Super Cafe” shorts that the HISHE crew has done over the years. It’s silly and kind of stupid, but mostly good fun with lots of nods to genre franchises of the past while being an impeccable remake of the source material.
