According to Deadline, Oscar-nominated actress Barbara Hershey will be classing up the next season of Fox’s X-Files revival. She’ll have a recurring role in the 10-episode season as Erika Price, a “powerful figure who represents a mysterious organization.” Every other thing that has happened on The X-Files suggests that she’ll be a villain because of that description, but at this point we can’t say for sure. Who knows, maybe season 11 will be the first time The X-Files decides to introduce a powerful figure working for a mysterious organization who isn’t part of an evil conspiracy of some kind.
For the last few years, Hershey has been a fixture of genre television, appearing on A&E’s Damien and ABC’s Once Upon A Time. Season 11 of The X-Files will most likely premiere at some point in the 2017-2018 TV season.
