Bastards of old: The Replacements are going on tour
Last year, it seemed like your only chance to see beloved ’80s rockers The Replacements perform was at one of a mere three reunion shows. But on the heels of the prospect of a new album from Paul Westerberg, Tommy Stinson, and company, now comes the firmest word yet that we’re in the midst of a Replacements rebirth: The band has announced that it’s going on a full-fledged tour of the U.S. beginning in April. Starting in Seattle, the group will wend its way south and across the country before ending the trek exactly one month later in Philadelphia. There are even a couple of European shows in Barcelona and London. The full schedule is below; the amount of beer-soaked sweat each show will generate has not yet been tabulated.
