Battlestar Galactica's Ronald D. Moore working on remake of Wild Wild West
Although Ronald D. Moore is already supposedly busy playing with wizards for NBC, Entertainment Weekly reports that the Battlestar Galactica producer has also begun quietly developing a remake of the 1960s TV show The Wild Wild West, the steampunk spy-thriller Western about two secret agents who defend post-Civil War America against the shenanigans of mad scientists and other supervillains. It’s still in the very early stages, but given the way next year’s programming slate—what with its updates of The Munsters and Wonder Woman joining fellow reboots like Hawaii Five-0—already seems pulled from some yellowed copy of TV Guide, it should fit in nicely. And hey, if that adaptation of Hitch also gets off the ground, that will mean two Will Smith-associated projects could be on the air, meaning the Willennium will have reached its apex at last. Prepare for a bountiful harvest.
