Don't say George W. Bush never did anything just: He will award BB King the Presidential Medal of Freedom at a ceremony at the White House next week. From BBC News:
"For more than half a century, the King of the Blues and his guitar Lucille have thrilled audiences," said Mr Bush.
The president added King had "influenced generations of guitarists" and "helped give the blues its special place in the American musical tradition".
Wow, he must have at least scanned BB's Wikipedia entry.
