BBC2 documentary nabs Spector interview

We should all be grateful for Phil Spector right now—he's proof that famous people in deep shit can still be interesting in and of themselves. Appropriately, then, filmmaker Vikram Jayanti will focus less on the question of Spector's guilt or innocence of murder and more on "his psychological landscape" in Arena—The Agony And The Ecstacy Of Phil Spector. It's apparently going to be based on Spector's first interview in 35 years. Jayanti's making the film for BBC2, but it should hopefully make its way over here before too long. (Variety)
