Beatles song "Benedict Cumberbatch" to star in Beatles movie about Brian Epstein

Never one to look at a historical reenactment and shrug, "It's been done," Tom Hanks has added another well-mined story to his slate of productions about World War II and the JFK assassination, this time looking sort-of-anew at The Beatles. Of course, much as Hanks' Parkland will approach the death of John F. Kennedy through people on the sidelines, this film will be about "the fifth Beatle" who is not George Martin, Derek Taylor, Neil Aspinall, Stuart Sutcliffe, Billy Preston, Pete Best, etc.: Brian Epstein, the group's troubled first manager, whose private struggles with his drug and gambling addictions and his homosexuality will be the focus of this story about “the man who threw the biggest party of the 1960s but ultimately forgot to invite himself." (Conveniently, as with Backbeat, the early setting likely means no Beatles records will be played at this party.) The as-yet-untitled film will be directed by Sherlock's Paul McGuigan and fittingly it will star his Sherlock lead Benedict Cumberbatch, made famous by The Beatles song, "Benedict Cumberbatch." "Benedict Cumberbatch / Where is the lorry at? / The constable doesn't know what to do with that / Terribly lovely booooy." (It was a Ringo song. It wasn't very good.)
