Behold the crazy Breaking Bad: The Complete Series Blu-ray package (and learn of its extras)

Hot on the heels of another mind-melting episode (any heart attacks out there last night?) comes the announcement of Breaking Bad: The Complete Series on Blu-ray, which will hit real and virtual shelves on November 26—just a scant couple of months after the show ends for good. (Yes, it's really happening.) And while we generally ignore these types of product releases (and save them for our annual Gift Guide), this one is a bit too extreme to pass up. It's packaged in a black plastic barrel emblazoned with the show's logo, and includes "over 55 hours of special features from all seasons." In addition, if you've ever desire a Los Pollos Hermanos apron but couldn't find one on Etsy, this belong on your wish list. (There's also something called a "commemorative challenge coin designed by Vince Gilligan," but I don't know what that means.) It's too early to tell if this one would belong on our Inventory of calamitous packaging gimmicks; we'll have to wait 'til Thanksgiving to find out.
