Ben Affleck took to Facebook on Tuesday to tell his fans that he’d recently wrapped a stint in rehab. The Justice League star says he’s dealt with alcohol abuse in the past, and acknowledges that the recovery process is an ongoing one.
People picked up the story yesterday, and also noted that Affleck and Jennifer Garner have put their divorce on hold to work through their problems. In his post, Affleck thanked Garner for having “supported me and cared for our kids as I’ve done the work I set out to do.” Affleck recently scaled back his involvement in The Batman; he’s still set to star in the film, but he will not be directing it. Matt Reeves took over as helmer last month.
