Ben Folds Five announce new record, its first in 13 years
Ben Folds Five has announced its first record in 13 years, The Sound Of The Life Of The Mind. The record was funded via PledgeMusic, a Kickstarter-like site that contributes part of its proceeds to music education and therapy. Participants will get the record delivered to them early, while the rest of the world will have to wait until Sept. 18, when the record comes out on ImaVeePee/Sony.
The band recently released the record's first single, “Do It Anyway,” and will be embarking on a fall tour. Another new song, "House," was released last year.
