Ben Gibbard, Aimee Mann, Ted Leo, and Jon Wurster get "Bigger Than Love" on The Colbert Report

A veritable pantheon of indie rock superstars (if there is such a thing) and Friends Of Tom gathered to perform on last night’s The Colbert Report. Aimee Mann, Ted Leo, and Jon Wurster backed up Death Cab For Cutie frontman Benjamin “Ben” Gibbard on “Bigger Than Love,” a song off his newish solo record, Former Lives. The whole thing went off rather well, and should only encourage the quartet to go on tour together, make a record, and become the whole world’s best friends.
