Better Call Saul gets a new trailer and subtly metaphorical poster

The last trailer we saw for Better Call Saul, AMC’s Breaking Bad spinoff/prequel, leaned pretty hard on foreshadowing the tragic future we know awaits Bob Odenkirk’s Jimmy McGill. This new trailer, however, is more about the wacky adventures McGill had in the show’s first season. Remember when Slippin’ Jimmy went on that Bingo-fueled rant at the retirement home? Or when he agonized over those moral dillemas? Good times.

The good times will most likely continue when Better Call Saul comes back on February 15, although this newly-released AMC teaser poster seems to suggest otherwise. It shows McGill walking up a mysteriously angled road, with a tiny Mike Ehrmantraut hidden in the background. It seems like a metaphor for something, or maybe indicates that the city of Albuquerque will be propped up at an angle next season.

AMC has also released some images of the characters from season two, but they’re not at weird angles, so it’s hard to say if they’re a metaphor for anything.
