Beyoncé benevolently dropped a surprise live album with her Netflix documentary, Homecoming

The reigning queen of little-to-zero warning has flexed her immense power once more. In conjunction with the release of her highly anticipated Netflix documentary Homecoming, Beyoncé has released a surprise 40-track live album of her famed Coachella set. Homecoming: The Live Album combines recordings from both headlining weekends – including all guest performances from Jay-Z, J Balvin, and the Destiny’s Child reunion – and three additional tracks. Even Blue Ivy Carter got in on the surprise with her own cover of “Lift Every Voice And Sing,” which she was filmed crooning during one of the rehearsals. She’s truly a descendant of the best in business, evident in both her budding vocal talent and her secret-keeping, as she didn’t tell a soul that she would be dropping a new single today.

The album also includes Beyoncé’s cover of Frankie Beverly and Maze’s “Before I Let Go,” which plays during the closing credits of the documentary, and a live version of “I Been On.” The album is available on all music streaming platforms. Yes, even Spotify.
