Big Bird’s not a player, but a new visual mashup finds him crushing a lot

It’s hard out there on the Sesame Streets for a pimp. That seems to be the message when Animal Robot (a.k.a. Benjamin Roberts) mashes up Big Bird with Big Pun’s “Still Not A Player.” Like in his previous mash-up of Dinosaurs and Notorious B.I.G., the ill-defined mouth movements of a Jim Henson creation allows Animal Robot to fill those speaking parts with sweet ’90s hip hop.

Animal Robot keeps it clean by using the censored version of the song (only fitting for a Children’s Television Workshop puppet), but it’s still a pretty good gag to watch the usually soft-spoken Big Bird spitting mad rhymes about all of the tail he’s been pulling.
