Bill O’Reilly may be disgraced and unemployed, but he’s still got bad takes to share. Since being ousted from Fox News earlier this year, he’s kept busy with a self-broadcasted vlog while also issuing breathtakingly bad viewpoints on everything from the Las Vegas shooting to Trump’s understanding of Nazis. Here he is in a state of what can only be described as extreme relaxation getting Jared Kushner’s back:
He also started an Instagram in August which, to date, contains exactly 11 images of his dog. Today, O’Reilly decided to combine the two interests in a tweet that may be his post-Fox magnum opus:
That’s right: According to O’Reilly, his beloved Corgi refuses to protest the murder of young black men by police officers both because 1) she respects America too much and 2) because she lacks knees. As everyone who has seen this tweet has told him, either Holly is a genetic freak, or O’Reilly somehow confused “being short” with “not having knees.” But look: the presence of countervailing information has never stopped Bill O’Reilly from firing off a race-baiting take before, so why should it now that he’s been demoted to a vlogging Baseball Crank with an Instagram to cross-promote? With provocative, dog-focused viewpoints like these, he’ll be back on top in no time.
