Black Sabbath announces what will apparently be its final show ever

As we reported back in September, Black Sabbath is planing to get back together for one final album and one final tour. That final album—which will be produced by Rick Rubin—is still in the works, and though we don’t have much information on the final tour, we do know where Black Sabbath’s final concert—ever, if we believe what the band is saying—will be held. Unfortunately, you probably won’t be able to make it.

According to Billboard, Black Sabbath will officially call it quits after performing at Ozzfest in Japan on November 22 of this year. Ozzy Osbourne will be there (of course), as will bassist Geezer Butler and guitarist Tony Iommi, but original drummer Bill Ward is not expected to attend due to an ongoing dispute over money. Billboard says Ozzy thinks he might show up, though. If you expect to find yourself in Japan later this year—and are comfortable with languages that don’t adhere to the English alphabet—Ozzfest Japan’s website has more details and ticket information.
