Blackhawks attempt to win Stanley Cup at home for first time in a long time
Here’s what’s up in the world of TV for Monday, June 15. All times are Eastern.
Top pick
Stanley Cup Final: Game 6: Lightning At Blackhawks (NBC, 8 p.m.): Tampa Bay Lightning looks to force a Game 7 to bring the series back to Tampa to regain the home-ice advantage. But the Chicago Blackhawks have a chance to win the Stanley Cup at home for the first time since 1938, as they bid for their third title in six seasons. It’s hockey time, y’all.
Regular coverage
WWE Monday Night Raw (USA, 8 p.m.)
The Whispers (ABC, 10 p.m.)
Steven Universe (Cartoon Network, 5:15 p.m.)
Elsewhere in TV Club
The A.V. Club spoke with podcast queen and overall hilarious human Lauren Lapkus to talk Jurassic World and landing another TV role. Also check out this Noel Murray-helmed Inventory of Andy Warhol depictions.
What else is on?
The Bachelorette (ABC, 8 p.m.): The remaining 12 bachelors travel to San Antonio with Kaitlyn, and one gets to go on a one-on-one date to a two-step dance competition. Then, 10 of the men come up with mariachi serenades for Kaitlyn…which couldn’t possibly go wrong/racist.
So You Think You Can Dance (Fox, 8 p.m.): The third round of auditions heads to Los Angeles, where plenty of people think they can dance.
The Fosters (ABC Family 8 p.m.): It’s Father’s Day on The Fosters, and Stef and Lena host a brunch for Mike. Callie joins the Quinns for the holiday and, according to the vague TV Guide synopsis, learns “something unexpected.” Don’t freak out though: You haven’t missed Father’s Day. You still have six days. Get on that shit.
Becoming Us (ABC Family, 9 p.m.): The ABC Family docuseries continues, with Danielle’s family inviting Ben over to dinner in an effort to help him sort out his feelings.
2 Fast 2 Furious (Spike, 7:30 p.m.): Look, no one likes this movie. But at least it gives us Tyrese in a denim cut-off vest and Eva Mendes eating strawberries.
Goodfellas (AMC, 7 p.m.): This is a great movie, but if you’re a woman, you probably won’t get it.
In case you missed it
Penny Dreadful: Eva Green is perfect. The end.
