Bo Diddley suffers stroke

Legendary blues/rock guitarist Bo Diddley has been hospitalized following a serious stroke he suffered on Sunday, just after a concert at Harrah's Casino in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The 78-year-old, who has a history of hypertension and diabetes, showed signs of disorientation after the show, and once admitted, doctors confirmed that Diddley had suffered a stroke that affected the left side of his brain, impairing his speech and speech recognition. He is currently in intensive care and his condition is listed as "guarded." Fans may send well-wishes to [email protected].
