Bob Mould’s latest record, Beauty & Ruin, is out today and, as you can read here, it’s pretty darn good. It’s fitting that Mould’s latest video is also pretty darn good. The clip for “I Don’t Know You Anymore” features Mould’s backing bandmates Jon Wurster and Jason Narducy, as well as The Decemberists’ Colin Meloy—who plays a bit of an asshole here. Meloy gives Mould advice about how to get the news out about his new record, which Mould and crew then turn into some very payola-heavy, Apple-centric trickery. The clip was filmed on Record Store Day in Portland.
