Though they're never far apart, not so long as Heaven’s Chimney is open and bathing us all in pure light and energy, any news of a David Cross and Bob Odenkirk reunion is something worth thanking our grandfather in the sky: The Wrap reports that Odenkirk is set to direct Cross in Annie Jenkins: A Not Very Romantic Comedy, a film that’s still in its development stages but which Odenkirk says has already received informal commitments from Cross, Krysten Ritter (Breaking Bad), Rainn Wilson, and Dennis Farina. He’s staying mum about the plot—and the only other thing we know is that Odenkirk is still searching for the male lead—so we’re going to go ahead and guess that it follows the ever-escalating series of comic misadventures that beset the burgeoning romance between Rainn Wilson and Dennis Farina.
